About Zoe Bennett
Zoe has hosted various events from magazine launches to events such as awareness of the effects of domestic violence and awards evening ceremonies. Zoe is also a motivational speaker with a lot of past and future bookings, which is a great way to give back to the industry and support individuals with your experience. The most popular topic she uses is “through adversity breeds success”. Her speciality looks into when you think life overwhelms you and you cannot see a way of succeeding how you can find the inner motivation, strategy and drive to ensure you are successful. She covers providing the audience with a background of her not succeeding in school and turning it around to obtain a Masters in Tourism management. Then she uses her background of a tragic event to encourage people that no matter how hard it gets, you have control of your destiny whether in your personal life or business life. She explains why it is important to set (realistic) goals and have a clear defined life strategy. The ultimate message is never give up!!!
Zoe enjoys speaking to other business professionals about strategy and achieving their goals and “never give up” attitude and how to hone that. Zoe also provides employability and goal setting workshops to 16- 18 year old under privileged apprentices, as well as motivational talks in high schools. She says “it feels so rewarding when I see that it has genuinely helped people in their day to day lives”. “I like to help people to succeed and overcome issues which may impact their business lives, and I work with a number of charities to help them raise money for their causes”. Out of the need to help and give back all profits to charity, Zoe created the Midlands Business and Community Charity Awards 2016 www.midlandsbccawards.co.uk.
The Charity Awards 2016 has been created to bring both the community and business world together to assist various charities (Olive Circle Foundation, Whizzkidz, Buddy Bag Foundation, Breast Cancer Now and Compton Hospice). The event will be held at the Copthorne Hotel, Merry Hill, Brierley Hill on 29 Oct 2016 at 6.30pm to 1.00am.
The awards are aimed at recognising individuals in both the community and business world who are the unsung heroes. By showcasing people that are selfless, considerate to others and go that extra mile, will openly encourage and inspire others to do the same or similar. Being made to feel valued is a powerful tool for young and old alike no matter what their background; it is ultimately just saying Thank You. It is also saying we appreciate you or simply recognising the importance of the efforts people go to or try to go to. This event will be a celebration of all the wonderful deeds that are being done that many may not be aware of.
Radio DJ Dickie Dodd and No.1 best seller on Amazon and owner of 4Networking Brad Burton are co-hosting the event. We also have signed auction items from David Cameron MP, a sculpture donated by one of the world’s leading sculptures Donald Brown www.theglobalgallery.com and award presentations by special guests.
